Toby Keith & Friends Event Raises $1.35 Million

The 22nd Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic raised more than $1.35 million June 12-13 at Riverwind Casino and Keith's Belmar Golf Club. Themed to celebrate 250 years of American independence, the event was headlined by country hitmaker Trace Adkins, with celebrated radio and TV personality Shawn Parr and business leader/philanthropist Jim West hosting and leading the live auction. As always, the Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic benefits The Toby Keith Foundation's work supporting OK Kids Korral.

The golf tournament winners were the Award Dealer Services team (morning group) and the Eskridge Honda team (afternoon). The winner of the $10,000 closest-to-the-pin shootout was Lucas Gibson. At the prior night's dinner, Trace Adkins performed a 75-minute set after the live auction. The evening also included a donation from Eskridge Auto Group and Lexus, who held a month-long fundraiser collecting $100 for every car sold resulting in the group presenting a checks totaling $47,800. The largest winning bids from the live auction were:

·  Toby Keith-themed leather etched guitar – $27,000

·     Vince Gill concert tickets and dinner – $25,000

·     Kentucky Derby tickets and accommodations – $21,000

·     A stay at the Pinhouse Lodge in Broken Bow – $18,000

·     Two Robin Marsh paintings – $15,000 each


Winning silent auction bids included:

·     Toby Keith-autographed red Solo cup and red cup necklace – $8,000

·     Jack Hughes-autographed photo – $6,000

·     Shai Gilgeous-Alexander-signed jersey – $4,000
