Party On: Toby Keith Brings Country to Town
The tour is named for his smash hit, which was featured on the How Do You Like Me Now?! album. Keith put it back in the set list during his 2019 That's Country Bro Tour! to great audience response. Over the course of the year, it occurred to him the song title was a logical tour name. Like so many of his hits, "Country Comes To Town" was written solely by Keith. And its lyrics hit at the party on tap for tour attendees: "You better be ready when the sun goes down, that's when country comes to town."
Attendees at arena shows will have access to the VIP Diamond Bar directly in front of the stage. The exclusive standing-room-only area gets fans as close to the action as possible, with a bar right at hand to keep their favorite beverages flowing.
And last weekend, he hosted his 17th (almost) annual Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic in Oklahoma. The 16th annual classic (2019) raised $1.3 million and pushed the event's historical total to $13.7 million, funds used to build and operate OK Kids Korral, the cost-free home for families of children being treated at area hospitals.
