The event was held at Latitude 39 in Indianapolis, IN, an awesome entertainment complex not far from Klipsch Music Center where Toby performed earlier in the evening.
The evening started out with the fans being greeted with a beer mug etched with the fan club logo, and a t-shirt. Once they moved into the venue, they were met with the fragrance of the yummy appetizers, and bar servers took orders for Blue Mezcalitas and Swamp Water drinks made with Toby's Wild Shot Mezcal.
Sounds of guitar and microphone set-ups confirmed what everyone had hoped for... Toby was going to perform!
While we were waiting for Toby to arrive on stage, Kay Johnson, Toby's Fan Club president took the mic and handed out a collection of door prizes: two signed drum heads from a previous concert, a collector's t-shirt from The Oklahoma Tornado Relief Concert, and a bottle of Wild Shot!
At 12:30am Toby took the stage and announced he had an electric guitar to give away. Toby pulled the winning ticket and personalized the guitar for Hannah, who was the winner.
Toby treated everyone to a good hour of songs he had not performed at the concert that night.
When it was all said and done, everyone agreed it was the best fan club party ever!
A big thank you to everyone who attended, and thank you to all of Toby's Warriors for supporting Toby and the Fan Club for 20 years. Also thank you to Latitude 39's staff and crew who made the entire evening flow so smoothly, and to everyone from the Fan Club, Music Today, and Management office who worked the event.
Will we be able to top it next year? Doubtful. But we can try!
