<(NORMAN, Okla.) Toby Keith will host his seventh annual Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic May 21-22 in Norman, Oklahoma, with proceeds again going to assist severely ill children and their families. The Classic begins Friday night with dinner, live entertainment and silent and live auctions. Participants tee-off the next day, with the event culminating in the Ford Shootout closest-to-the-pin contest. The winner drives away in a new Ford F-Series pickup.>

Toby's more celebrated friends on hand for the Denim & Diamonds-themed event will include David Wells, Kevin Gross, Tony Casillas, Rocky Calmus and Nancy Lieberman. Auction items will range from a Food Network experience with Guy Fieri on the set of Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives and ESPY tickets to a SeaDream Caribbean Voyage and autographed memorabilia from Brett Favre, Steve Young, Sugar Ray Leonard, Michael Phelps, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, Cold Play, Chris Allen, Trace Adkins and more. And the list grows every day.

The tournament, auction and dinner benefits the Toby Keith Foundation, which is funding the OK Kids Korral, a 16-room guest lodge that will house pediatric cancer patients and their families on the grounds of Oklahoma University Medical Center. With completion expected in 2012, the 30,000 sq. ft. facility will be a haven of respite for families of young children struggling through cancer treatments.

In other Toby Keith news, a recent study of radio airplay by trade publication Country Aircheck reveals Keith's music to be among the most-played across the nation. The trade's Top 100 Power Gold analysis reveals Keith to have 6 of the top 50 songs receiving airplay as measured by Mediabase, more than any other artist. Toby also has two songs – "How Do You Like Me Now?!" and "As Good As I Once Was" – in the top 10. All told, eight of Keith's songs are included in the Top 100 Power Gold. (A station's "gold" airplay category typically include only the biggest hits of recent years that have continued to receive regular airplay, as opposed to current releases.)

Of course, Toby Keith has plenty of current hits, too. "American Ride" and "Cryin' For Me" from his new American Ride album have already climbed the charts, and his new single "Every Dog Has Its Day" has been one of the Most Added songs at Country radio for the past five weeks. His Ford F-Series sponsored American Ride Tour kicks off in May, and he'll embark on his eighth consecutive USO Tour of the Middle East in April.
